Granny Nuccia's House is an old family cottage, which rests on a hill surrounded by meadows and woods. Only 6 km from the urban center of Fabriano, it is the ideal place for you and your dogs.
We, for one, are dog lovers and have played with dogs since childhood in the same house. Today we open our doors to our guests so that others can enjoy the same green spaces and let their dogs run freely.
The house is also perfect for groups of friends and families who want to enjoy the tranquility and landscape of the Marche hills. The old farmhouse has been renovated and enjoys all the comforts needed to enjoy the vacation or escape from the city on weekends. It is a bit like reliving the old country house atmosphere. Here you can feel at home.
Divided into two floors, on the ground floor, there is the 'large living room with the large antique fireplace and the kitchen, equipped with everything you need. On the upper floor, the sleeping part, with 2 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with two single beds and the bathroom with shower. If the group of guests is large, we can add a seventh sofa bed on the ground floor. In the rooms you will find everything you need including linens, blankets and bath towels. Cleaning equipment, laundry and recycling containers. As for caring for your dogs, you can bring everything you need as if you were at home.
The large, unfenced garden in front of the house has everything you need for outdoor grilling or sunbathing and enjoying the sunset. A few meters from the house, in what was once the farmer's threshing floor, is an agility-camp, and a beautiful walk through the woods to the river.
Less than 6km from the house, as you enter the urban center of Fabriano, you will find supermarkets, bars, gas station, pharmacy, pizzeria, and other stores to avoid the waits and lines of the historic center.
Things to do there are plenty to do in Fabriano, even in the company of your dogs since the historic center is served by ample car parking and is a short walk from the Piazza del Comune. not to be missed, with access allowed to dogs, are both the Paper and Watermark Museum, the Bicycle Crafts Museum and the nearby Frasassi caves in the town of Genga.
The house is located in Varano a town just a few meters from the border with Umbria that offers days to visits to beautiful places such as Gubbio, Assisi and Perugia, usable comfortably even with your dog.
If you prefer outdoor activities, to enjoy the freedom of trekking and walking, just a few kilometers from Casa di nonna Nuccia, you will find: the Green Hall of Valleremita, The Museum of Peasant Civilization and the Regional Park of Monte Cucco, an ideal place in any season of the year.
